Reem Makkawi

Reem Makkawi is an Architectural Designer and Project Manager at Anderson Anderson Architecture: an international architectural, urban design and design-build construction practice. Coming from a construction background in the Middle East, Reem obtained a B.A in Architecture from the University of California Berkeley, and is a Master of Architecture Candidate at Columbia University. In addition to her research in art, architecture & urban history, Reem is passionate about nuts-and-bolts construction details and project management. Reem is actively involved in several organizations as the co-founder of San Francisco based design group N.ARK.O (New Arkitecture Organization) and a design collaborator with Kaloum Bankhi.
