Matt Fairris

Matt Fairris holds a Masters of City Planning degree from the University of California, Berkeley (2019). Matt has experience with traditional and innovative financing plans for delivering affordable housing and community-oriented facilities. Although raised in southern California, Matt has spent most of his academic and professional career in northern California, having received his B.S. in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis (2014).

Matt began working with the Kaloum Bankhi team during the 2019 UC Berkeley Big Ideas Competition, specifically developing a long-term financial plan and identifying various methods for leveraging the Big Ideas monetary award. Since this competition, Matt plans to provide ongoing financial planning support to the Kaloum Bankhi team.
